I tried to write about myself in the third person and it was just plain creepy. ”David Teems is a musician, a published author, and an all around . . . “ So I’m back to those useful, but rather slippery words I, me, and my. I am a musician, and a published author. I am a husband, a father, a grandfather. I am a dog lover (though at present I do not have a dog). I was ordained in 1989. I have made my living by means of the word for two decades, and internet spelling scares me. My wife, Benita, and I live in Franklin, Tennessee near our two sons, Adam and Shad. Adam and his wife, Katie, have just had baby number three, a girl, Audrey Gray, on August 25. Audrey has an older brother, Julian, who is three, and a sister, Evie, who has just turned two. None of us have dogs, but after having three dalmatians, the ones who inspired me, my book, and this blog, it is just a matter of time.

A fun picture of me at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
